The EP represents a creative departure for the artist, blending his signature Afrobeats sound with elements of UK garage, grime, and dancehall. The title track features a collaboration with British rapper Stormzy, while "Island Vibes" pairs Wizkid with Jamaican dancehall icon Vybz Kartel. Other tracks include the introspective "Homecoming" and the club-ready "Turn Up."

"I wanted to make something that reflects where I've been and where I'm going," Wizkid said in a brief statement posted to his social media accounts. "Lagos made me. London raised me. The world is next."

The surprise release strategy, known in the industry as a "drop," has become increasingly common among major artists. Wizkid's last album, "More Love, Less Ego" (2022), was preceded by months of promotional buildup.
