Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy will perform three consecutive nights at the newly renovated Lagos National Stadium, marking the biggest concert event in Nigerian music history.
Burna Boy has officially announced a historic three-night concert series at the newly renovated Lagos National Stadium, set for December 2026. The announcement, made via his social media channels, has already sent shockwaves through the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The Grammy-winning artist will perform on December 18, 19, and 20, with each night featuring a different theme and setlist. Night one, titled "Homecoming," will feature his earliest hits and stories from his rise to fame. Night two, "African Giant," will focus on his breakthrough international albums. Night three, "Love Damini," will showcase his most recent work and feature surprise guest appearances.
The Lagos National Stadium, recently renovated with modern acoustics and seating for 45,000 people, has never hosted a multi-night concert series of this magnitude. Organizers expect over 100,000 attendees across the three nights, making it the largest music event in Nigerian history.
Ticket sales will open next month with prices ranging from 15,000 Naira for general admission to 500,000 Naira for VIP experiences. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Burna Boy Foundation, which supports music education programs across Nigeria.
Industry analysts predict this event could generate over 2 billion Naira in direct revenue, not including ancillary spending on hotels, transportation, and merchandise. Several international brands have already expressed interest in sponsorship opportunities.
